The trade of “collareira” dates back almost two hundred years and is traditional in the Galician village of O Grove. A village where people is totally linked to the sea and the Ría de Arousa, and where the popular tourist island, La Toja, is located. On this small island, artisan women exhibited and sold their creations, generation after generation. But that has been changing for a few years thanks to Montse Betanzos.
